I'm a bad-ass American who, as you know, would just as soon eat you as look at you", they realize they're being rude and look away. Actually, this often works with just a regular stare-back as well. Although, sometimes I've found that the men don't look away in embarassment but with a kind of angry disgust. It's very disheartening.
