I loved that I didn’t have to wear slacks, dresses or nice shoes to school. I quickly learned that I didn’t have to when I saw all of my fellow teachers wearing blue jeans everyday of the week.

I wish all jobs in the US were like this. That would be awesome.

I know! When I taught in the US, I were skirts, hose, dress shoes, makeup, everything.

I wouldn’t wear anything ripped to work here, but jeans and sneakers have become our foreign-teacher uniform.
