@Stuart I know, seriously! We really only rent TV seasons so that would be awesome. Watch episode 1, send it back and get episode 2. (although the wait would be annoying)

@Chris No, it doesn't. Although the next time we talk about my not changing my name, I'm going to suggest changing it to Malavette. Life is inaccurate, USA Today is psychic.

I don't know why, but for the first 6 months, Phil and I didn't buy any DVDs in China. Perhaps it had something to do with having hundreds of movies on a hard drive that we brought from home. Eventually, we watched most of them, and needed more variety to keep us entertained. It wasn't until we found a kick-ass secret DVD store in Xiamen that we started to go a bit DVD crazy. That store had the best selection ever, and it was constantly changing. My greatest find came in Yangshuo when I found a 5 yuan copy of The Flight of the Navigator. It was sitting in a basket outside of a bar. And it worked - so I was happy. :)
