Test Scores

I hate state-required testing, and I don’t think it measures anything, and I think it’s a waste of my students’ time… except when works in my favor.

I got my students’ test scores back today and they were awesome! The students who I expected to do poorly scored as average, my average students scored as though they’d had a year of my level, instead of a semester. Some did even better than that… and two of my students placed out of the ESL program entirely! (Sadly, one student made no progess but since she’s missed a month of classes, that’s only to be expected)

In conclusion, the arbitrary numbers prove that I rock.
