That’s a Thing We’re Working On, Right?

I just spent most of the morning composing a professional work message that boils down to “Hey, guys, you’re going to include a playable female character without her boobs hanging out, right?”

I have to imagine that a message like that would require a lot of mitigation so that guys don’t feel like they are having their boobs taken away from them. Philosophically, I feel that’s what fan art is for though.

Original message: Hello, all male team, I recognize that you’re having a great time watching the boobs bounce, and I’m definitely not here to ruin your fun, but, see, some women and girls might not like if their only player option is giant boobs covered in a tiny scrap of fabric. Of course, no one’s calling you sexist, and I’m sure you consider women your equals and not just sexual objects, and I’m sure no one was being intentionally exclusive with this choice, so I just wanted to make sure that a playable female that’s not completely sexualized is in the development pipeline. Please don’t fire the freelancer who is also the only woman on the project! I’m totally cool and definitely just one of the guys!
