London Demands Spices

London demands spices. I think that’s a pretty solid summary of the British Empire, actually. Also, it’s my winter break, and I’m playing Civ with Eric, just like when we were in college a few years ago, I mean several … Continue reading

Civ 2, Or Why I Should Listen To Eric Sometimes

Nick tagged me in that 15 games Facebook meme, but as I started to compile my most memorable games, I realized I’m unable to just type a list. Civilization 2 would definitely make that list. When Civ 2 came out, … Continue reading

Civ V at E3

I was already sold on Civ V before I went to the demo at E3. Civilization, in all it’s incarnations, is one of my favorite games, and I was really looking forward to seeing the newest version. Civ V keeps … Continue reading

The Chinese units (usually mine) say “What do you want?” and the Romans (usually Stick’s) say “What are your orders?” Continue reading

My Tribe

MyTribe, by Grubby Games, is a happy Lost-ish sim, with all the mysteries and none of that annoying Others soap opera. I downloaded the game mostly because Casualicious.com’s recent post made it sound like a civilization-advancement sim without that annoying … Continue reading

One More Turn

Yesterday Stick and I picked up the new Civ 4 expansion. I don’t know how it is yet, but I do know that when I woke up about around 6AM, Stick was sitting in front of the computer saying he … Continue reading
